The same also goes with Japanese songs and probably most country which have their own alphabetical characters in their language system. so I didn’t have much problem but as for my mom who didn’t speak Korean? It is a problem. If you’re asking how can I understand the lyrics shown in Spotify but my mom doesn’t? Yup you guess it right, I eventually able to speak and read Korean & Japanese language.
As I show her the lyrics widget on Spotify, she got confused because she found out that korean lyrics in spotify are mostly use korean alphabetical characters (Hangeul). Later on, my mom call me again asking where do I get the lyrics at (She’s trying to sing along with the song too). She came to me and ask me where do I listen to the song and where do I read the lyrics, well it was all on Spotify. The song was quite popular that time as it was a soundtrack of a K-Drama and my mom eventually watched the drama and know the song. It was few months ago, I was humming to a K-Pop song as I’m doing my task.
